Warburton to lead Wales v IrelandPosted on 05/02/2014 in Rugby
Sam Warburton will return to Wales' starting line-up for the defending champion's clash with Ireland this weekend.
The skipper was only fit enough to come off the bench in the win over Italy, but will start ahead of Justin Tipuric in one of three changes for the Welsh.
There will be a 102nd cap for Gethin Jenkins with Paul James dropping out, while second row Andrew Coombs replaces the hamstrung Luke Charteris.
"It's great to bring Sam and Gethin back into the side and it's a good opportunity for Andrew Coombs to start as well," said Wales head coach Warren Gatland.
"Last weekend was a good hit out for a lot of reasons, but we still have things to work on and we know how important this game is."
Wales have not lost an away match in the Six Nations since 2011, but know they will be tested at the Aviva Stadium against an Irish outfit that beat Scotland last week.
