Kevin Sinfield insists Leeds can prove critics wrong against CatalansPosted on 30/09/2012 in Rugby
Kevin Sinfield is hoping to force the critics' words back down their throats when Leeds play the Catalan Dragons in Super League Play-Off action tonight (September 21st).
Many onlookers have written the Rhinos off after they ended up in fifth place, however, that was the exact same position in which they finished last year when they went on to win the Grand Final.
Sinfield famously dedicated that triumph to the critics who said Leeds were no-hopers and believes that lightening could easily strike twice ahead of the first preliminary semi-final.
He stated: "I think the team are ready for it. A lot of people are writing us off again.
"Nobody expects us to go to France and win, so we go there without any pressure."
The skipper added that the Dragons were a tough side and the match would be played in a very intimating atmosphere, but he was still confident.
Leeds will be without prop Kylie Leuluai, who was suspended for punching in last week's opening play-off win over Wakefield.
