Brett Hodgson believes that Warrington's Challenge Cup win can spur them on to break their Super League duck.

The Wolves beat Leeds 35-18 to win at Wembley last weekend and claim the trophy for the third time in just four years, but so far Warrington have come up short in the play-offs.

Hodgson was man of the match in the Challenge Cup final and believes that his current teammates can go on to complete the first double since Saints in 2008.

The full-back said: "We'll go away and assess this and try and prepare well for the next couple of weeks leading into the semis.

"We fell at that hurdle last year and it will be something we'll have to look at."

Warrington have two matches left in the Super League before their post season challenge awaits.

The Wolves will be looking to take their current momentum into the play-offs and will expecting good a good performance against Huddersfield on Saturday (September 2nd).

Their final match of the season sees them travel to Widnes.
