Vidic says goodbye to Old TraffordPosted on 07/05/2014 in Premier League
Nemanja Vidic bid a fond farewell to the Manchester United fans yesterday (May 6th).
The Serbian defender is used to captaining the Red Devils to success, but had to make do with a 3-1 win over Hull that puts United in the race for a not-so-coveted Europa League place.
"It was hard in many ways – first because it was my last game at Old Trafford, as well we didn't have a great year. I think it is the first year in my eight years that we didn't celebrate a trophy, which is hard," Vidic said.
The defender is the first player to announce he is leaving Old Trafford in what is expected to be a summer of changes.
Who else will leave the Theatre of Dreams? Who will be the new man in charge to select the replacements?
Can United get back in the Champions League at the first attempt next year?
