Manchester United look set to seal Kagawa dealPosted on 06/06/2012 in Premier League
Manchester United look close to finalising the signing of Shinji Kagawa from Borussia Dortmund.
The Premier League runners up announced that they have agreed terms with the Bundesliga champions and the transfer is now only subject to a work permit and medical, with the deal thought to be worth £12 million, but could rise to £17 million with add-ons.
However, the highly-rated midfielder said he is currently focussed on his duties with Japan, who are playing back-to-back games next week.
"The transfer is not complete for the time being. I have yet to sign the contract," Kagawa told Kyodo News after training with his national team on Tuesday (June 5th).
"The team and I are fully focused on the next two games. It's better if we talk about (the transfer) after those matches," he added.
Kagawa was one of the key players in Dortmund's successful defence of the German title, scoring 13 goals in 31 matches.
