AVB tight-lipped about Bale futurePosted on 25/07/2013 in Premier League
Andre Villas-Boas refused to discuss the future of Tottenham's star asset Gareth Bale, after his team suffered a 3-1 preseason defeat to Sunderland in Hong Kong.
The manager had previously reiterated the club's stance that Bale will not be sold this summer, but remained tight-lipped amid reports that Real Madrid have already agreed personal terms with the Welshman.
However, Villas-Boas did say there was a chance that the former Southampton youngster could be involved in the final match of the Asia Trophy against South China on Saturday (July 27th).
He told Sky Sports News: "We're trying to get Gareth involved in training tomorrow . Not with the team, unfortunately, but on his own."
Bale is also thought to be a target for new Manchester United manager David Moyes as he looks to spend a reported £100 million transfer fund this summer.
Tottenham have been relatively subdued in the transfer market this summer, moving quickly to bring Brazil's Confederation's Cup star Paulinho to the Premier League, but so far failing in their long-term ambition to bring a striker to White Hart Lane.
