Sturridge and Walker available for England v GermanyPosted on 18/11/2013 in International
With big names pulling out of the England v Germany match on a regular basis, Roy Hodgson received a welcome boost with the news that Daniel Sturridge and Kyle Walker will be fit for tomorrow's (November 19th) match.
As this weekend sees Borussia Dortmund take on Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga, many of the German stars will not be playing at Wembley, while Hodgson's own squad has also been hit with withdrawals.
Sturridge's return in particular will please the Three Lions boss who has made him an instrumental part of his recent selections, starting both of England's most recent World Cup qualifiers – the 4-1 win over Montenegro and the victory over Poland.
The Liverpool striker has been in fine form for his club side so far this season, scoring eight goals in 11 Premier League appearances.
Walker has missed the last two England matches through suspension and injury, but after receiving a pain-killing injection, told FA TV: "I'm feeling fine and ready for selection on Tuesday."
